Course Description:
     An ideal physical education course for homeschoolers, this weekly course provides personal training by certified training coaches to teach youngsters all aspects of essential physical education.  Online supplemental training is provided, but the core program consists of an intensive 55-minute workout based on a weekly training plan which is challenging and progressive in scope, combined with fun activities to make the class enjoyable.  One or two classes per week recommended.  For students under age 10, please check out the NinjaZone program.
      Each week this course includes a balanced focus on three essential areas of physical development:  core strength, limb strength, and cardio-vascular strength.  Classes are small, limited to six students in a group.  As much as possible, students are grouped by physical age and gender.  This class is not be satisfactory for students under age 10, and for those kids we recommend enrolling in our Ninja Zone classes, which are similar to EPE in training but at a lower intensity for developing young bodies.
     While gymnastics equipment is used in much of the training, this is a physical conditioning class, not a gymnastics class, and gynastics skills are generally not taught.  Supplemental online training materials are provided to encourage kids to workout on days they do not come to class.  This class is intended for one or two classes per week of in-studio training, but students who want more may consider joining a gymnstics class as well.
